Shop Fabuwood Cabinets Shop Fabuwood AllureHow the Fabuwood lineup is organized
Fabuwood sorts its doors by line. The line sets the cabinet box, drawers and price range, and the door style sets the look. Pick the line first, then the door inside it.
Three lines are framed: Allure, Quest and Value Premium. A solid wood face frame sits on the front of the box. Two lines are frameless: Illume and Ovela. There the doors mount straight to the box sides for a tight European look and wider openings. All five lines carry Fabuwood's limited lifetime warranty for the original residential owner.

Fabuwood Allure door styles
Allure is Fabuwood's flagship framed line and the one with the most choice: six door styles and 110 door and color combinations on our site. Every Allure door is full overlay, so the doors cover nearly all of the face frame. The box is the same under all six: 1/2 inch veneered plywood sides set into dovetail grooves in the face frame, 3/4 inch plywood shelves on metal clips, 5/8 inch solid wood dovetail drawers on Blum Tandem plus Blumotion full-extension soft-close runners, and Blum soft-close hinges. The door changes the look and the price, and the cabinet stays the same. Every detail is in our Allure spec book guide.
Allure colors come in two groups. Signature colors are the core paints and stains. The Designer Collection adds deeper and brighter paints such as Sage Green and Denim Blue, at a higher price. Fabuwood also offers custom paint colors on Allure for a set-up fee, so ask us for a quote if you need one.
Galaxy: the classic shaker
Galaxy is the traditional shaker: a flat recessed panel inside a square frame. The stiles and rails are 3/4 inch thick and 2-1/2 inch wide, joined with mortise and tenon, around a 3/8 inch recessed MDF and veneer panel. Drawer fronts are 5-piece to match.
It has the largest Allure palette at 30 colors, from paints like Linen and Pitch Black to stains like Truffle and the oak finishes Natural Oak and Desert Oak. It is also the lowest-priced Allure door, with a 10x10 kitchen from $3,799 (our price as of September 2026). Designer Collection colors on Galaxy start at $5,149.
Best for: traditional and transitional kitchens, resale-minded remodels, and anyone who wants Allure construction at the entry Allure price.
Fusion: the wider-frame shaker
Fusion keeps the shaker shape and widens the frame to 3 inches, still 3/4 inch thick with mortise and tenon joints, around a 3/8 inch reversed MDF and veneer center panel. The wider frame gives each door more presence.
Fusion comes in 18 colors, including the soft paints Oyster, Stone and Nickel and the Kona stain. A 10x10 starts at $4,699, our price as of September 2026, and Designer colors start at $6,349.
Best for: transitional kitchens where a standard shaker feels too light.
Nexus: the widest frame
Nexus has the widest stiles and rails in the lineup at 3-1/4 inches, 3/4 inch thick, with mortise and tenon joints and a 3/8 inch reversed MDF center panel.
We carry 13 Nexus colors. Frost and Pistachio Green start at $4,699 for a 10x10, and the Designer paints such as Hunter Green are $6,349 (our prices as of September 2026).
Best for: bold painted kitchens and color-blocked islands.
Luna: the slim frame
Luna goes the other way. Its stiles and rails are only 3/4 inch wide, finished with an applied profile molding around a 5/8 inch moisture-resistant MDF and veneer center panel. From across the room it reads close to a slab, with a fine outline up close. Stained Luna doors use solid wood stiles and rails, and painted doors use HDF.
Luna has 19 colors. The wood tones are a strength here: Natural Oak and Desert Oak are a 10x10 from $5,649, and Kona and Truffle from $4,699, our prices as of September 2026.
Best for: modern and warm-minimal kitchens that still want some detail on the door.
Echo: the thinnest frame
Echo has the narrowest frame Fabuwood makes: 5/16 inch stiles and rails with a 45 degree mitered inner profile and applied molding, around a 5/8 inch moisture-resistant MDF and veneer panel. Like Luna, stained Echo doors use solid wood stiles and rails and painted doors use HDF.
Echo comes in 15 colors. Dove, Mocha and Timber start at $4,699 for a 10x10, and Designer paints like Echo Sage Green are $6,349 (our prices as of September 2026).
Best for: contemporary kitchens and color-forward designs.
Luxe: the framed slab
Luxe is a full overlay slab door. It gives you a clean modern face on Allure's framed plywood box, with the same dovetail drawers and Blum hardware as the other five doors.
We carry 15 Luxe colors. Frost starts at $4,699 for a 10x10, the oak stains Canyon Oak and Desert Oak at $5,649, and the Designer paints at $6,349 (our prices as of September 2026).
Best for: modern kitchens that want a slab front with framed construction.
You can see every Allure color with live prices on the Fabuwood Allure page.
Fabuwood Illume door styles
Illume is Fabuwood's frameless line built with Threespine Click construction. The sides, top and bottom are 3/4 inch engineered furniture board with a 1/4 inch MDF back and 5/8 inch hanging rails. Drawers are Blum Merivobox metal drawers on full-extension soft-close runners rated for 75 lb. Gloss and matte doors have an MDF core with a lacquered face, and textured woodgrain doors use engineered furniture board with a resin-based coating. Details are in our Illume spec book guide.
Illume Catalina: the European slab
Catalina is a full overlay slab door with matching slab drawer fronts, mounted on the frameless box. On Illume it comes in 44 colors across gloss, matte and textured woodgrain finishes, from Bianco Gloss and Carbone Matte to woodgrains like Como Ash 2. A 10x10 starts at $4,099, our price as of September 2026.
Best for: modern and high-gloss kitchens at a frameless entry price.
Illume Tuscany: frame and panel, frameless box
Tuscany is a full overlay 5-piece door with matching 5-piece drawer fronts, so you get a framed-door look on a frameless cabinet. Illume Tuscany comes in 22 matte and textured colors. Verde Salvia starts at $4,999 for a 10x10, and most colors are $6,099 (our prices as of September 2026).
Best for: transitional kitchens that want frameless storage.
Fabuwood Ovela door styles
Ovela carries the same two doors as Illume on an all-plywood frameless box: 3/4 inch plywood sides, top and bottom, a 1/2 inch back grooved into the sides, veneered interiors and 3/4 inch plywood shelves. Drawers are 5/8 inch solid wood dovetail boxes on Blum full-extension soft-close runners rated for 75 lb. See the Ovela spec book guide for the full specs.
Ovela Catalina: the most colors of any Fabuwood door
Ovela Catalina has 50 colors, the most of any door in this guide. Beyond the Illume palette it adds oak and elm textures such as Ferrara Oak, Clubhouse Oak and Natural Elm, each a 10x10 from $4,399, our price as of September 2026.
Best for: modern kitchens where plywood construction matters to you.
Ovela Tuscany: the premium frameless 5-piece
Ovela Tuscany pairs the 5-piece door with the plywood frameless box in 28 colors, including Hickory Rock and Silk Flow. Every color is a 10x10 from $6,549 (our price as of September 2026), the highest-priced door in the lineup.
Best for: a frame-and-panel look with frameless storage and a plywood box.
Every Ovela finish is on the Fabuwood Ovela page with live prices.
Fabuwood Quest door styles
Quest is the framed budget line: a 1/2 inch veneered plywood box, the same 3/4 by 1-1/2 inch solid wood face frame, 5/8 inch solid wood dovetail drawers on Blum soft-close runners with 80 percent extension, and 5/8 inch plywood shelves. Both doors are traditional overlay, which means a band of face frame shows around each door and drawer. See the Quest spec book guide.
Quest Discovery
Discovery is a 5-piece door with solid wood rails 3/4 inch thick and 2-1/4 inch wide, mortise and tenon joints and a 5mm MDF center panel. It comes in Discovery Frost, a 10x10 from $2,899, our price as of September 2026.
Quest Metro
Metro is a slimmer 5-piece door with 2 inch rails and a 6mm MDF panel captured in solid wood. It comes in Frost, Mist and Java, each a 10x10 from $2,899 (our price as of September 2026).
Best for: rentals, flips, laundry rooms and tight budgets.
Fabuwood Value Premium door style
Hallmark
Hallmark is a 5-piece door in full HDF: a 3/4 by 2-1/4 inch frame around a 1/2 inch center panel, which reduces the chance of shrinkage. Base doors are full overlay, and wall doors use a modified overlay so crown molding can mount on the face frame. Drawers are solid wood dovetail on full-extension runners, a step up from Quest. It comes in Hallmark Frost, a 10x10 from $3,199, our price as of September 2026. More in the Value Premium spec book guide.
Best for: a white kitchen on a budget that still wants full-extension drawers.
How to choose a Fabuwood door style
Start with the frame. Line the doors up by frame width and the choice gets easier: Echo at 5/16 inch, Luna at 3/4 inch, Metro at 2 inches, Discovery and Hallmark at 2-1/4, Galaxy at 2-1/2, Fusion at 3 and Nexus at 3-1/4. Luxe and Catalina have no frame at all. Wider frames read traditional, thinner ones modern.
Next, decide framed or frameless. Framed Allure gives you the most door styles and colors. Frameless Illume and Ovela give wider openings and a European reveal. Our framed vs frameless guide covers the tradeoffs, and the Allure vs Illume vs Quest comparison goes line by line.
Then set the budget. Galaxy is the best value in Allure. Illume Catalina is the lowest-priced frameless door. Ovela gives you plywood frameless construction. If you want a refresher on the terms, kitchen cabinet door styles explained walks through shaker, slab and 5-piece.
Mixing two doors works well inside Allure, since every Allure door shares the same box. A Galaxy perimeter with a Luxe island is a simple pairing.
