Fabuwood Ovela

Ovela is Fabuwood's frameless plywood line. It carries the same two door collections as Illume, Catalina and Tuscany, and the same European finish palette, but the box underneath is different. Ovela is built from plywood rather than engineered furniture board.

Catalina is the slab door: a flat, full overlay front with matching slab drawer fronts, suited to handleless and minimal kitchens. Tuscany is the five-piece version of the same idea, with a framed door profile on the same frameless box.

Because the box is frameless, the opening is the full interior width of the cabinet. There is no face frame to reach around, which matters most on drawer banks and pull-out storage.

Frameless plywood box

Three-quarter inch plywood sides, top and bottom with a half inch plywood back panel. No face frame, so the opening is the full width of the cabinet.

Solid wood dovetail drawers

Five-eighths inch solid wood dovetail drawer box with a three-eighths inch plywood bottom, riding on Tandem plus Blumotion full-extension concealed runners.

Integrated plywood toe kick

The toe kick is recessed three-quarter inch plywood built directly into the box, rather than a separate applied piece or plastic leveling feet.

Veneered plywood shelving

Adjustable shelves are three-quarter inch select veneered plywood, edge-banded to match the interior.

Three-quarter inch Engineered Furniture Board sides and shelving. Quarter inch back panel with hanging rails. Engineered Furniture Board toe kick with adjustable plastic feet.

Both lines offer the Catalina slab and Tuscany five-piece doors, both are frameless euro overlay, and both use Blum Clip-On hinges with Blumotion soft-close.
