Shipping Policy

Where we ship

We ship to the 48 contiguous United States, to both residential and commercial addresses.

Alaska, Hawaii and international: we do not ship to Alaska or Hawaii, and we do not ship outside the United States. This applies to every brand we carry.

Shipping rates

Fabuwood ships at a flat rate anywhere in the 48 contiguous states, so your Fabuwood cost depends on what you order, not where you live. Jarlin, Kitchen Cabinet Distributors (KCD), CNC and Eurocraft ship by freight carrier and are priced by destination, so those rates start at $350 and are confirmed with you before your order is processed.

What you are ordering Shipping
Cabinet door samples $30 per order, any quantity
Fabuwood orders under $100 $49
Fabuwood orders $100 to $1,498.99 $199
Fabuwood orders of $1,499 or more Free
Jarlin, KCD, CNC and Eurocraft cabinetry Freight, starting at $350
Freight brands are quoted, not flat rate. Jarlin, KCD, CNC and Eurocraft ship by freight carrier. The $350 you see at checkout is a starting rate, not the final cost. Freight is priced by destination, so a delivery to a rural address, a limited access location or a long haul can be significantly higher. We confirm the exact freight amount with you in writing before we process your order, and you can cancel at no cost if the final number does not work for you.

Jarlin, KCD, CNC and Eurocraft orders are not eligible for the Fabuwood free shipping threshold. If your cart mixes brands, you may see more than one shipping charge at checkout because the brands ship from different warehouses.

On Fabuwood orders, oversized items, difficult delivery access or remote destinations can occasionally require an additional charge. If that applies to your order we will contact you with the exact amount before we process anything. You will never be billed a surprise freight charge after the fact.

Processing and transit times

Most stock orders ship within 2 to 3 business days. Actual availability varies by brand and finish, and a small number of finishes are made to order. If anything in your order will take longer, we will tell you before it ships.

Transit time is separate from processing time and depends on how far the shipment travels. Freight carriers typically contact you to schedule a delivery appointment.

Receiving your delivery

Cabinet orders move by freight on a pallet, so a few minutes of care at delivery protects you completely.

  • Inspect the shipment before you sign for it whenever possible.
  • Walk around the pallet and check every carton for crushing, punctures or water staining.
  • Photograph anything that looks wrong while the driver is still there.
  • Write any damaged boxes or pallet damage on the delivery receipt before the driver leaves. This is the single most important step. The manufacturers require that note, made at the time of delivery, to approve a replacement for damage that was visible on arrival.

About your delivery

Your cabinet order will be delivered by freight carrier using curbside delivery. The driver will unload the shipment at the curb or designated delivery point, and from there the order can be moved into your home or garage.

We recommend having someone available on delivery day to help move the boxes and preparing a convenient storage area ahead of time.

If you would prefer additional delivery assistance, such as having the shipment brought inside, please contact us before your order ships. We can check availability and provide pricing for upgraded delivery service.

Damage and defects

If anything arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 7 days of delivery. Send photos of the damaged item, the carton it arrived in, and the shipping label. We file the replacement claim with the manufacturer for you, at no cost. Please report damage or defects before the item is assembled or installed. Items reported before assembly or installation qualify for replacement, and once a piece is assembled or installed it is treated as accepted.

Reporting after 7 days makes claims difficult, so please open the cartons and check the contents even if you are not installing right away.

Natural variation in wood doors

Wood is a natural material and it responds to the humidity around it. Slight differences in grain, color depth and movement between doors are normal and are not defects. This is expected in any real wood product and is why doors from different production runs will never be perfectly identical.

Let your cabinets acclimate in the room where they will live before judging door alignment, and confirm that installation and adjustment are correct before requesting a replacement. Doors that fall within the manufacturer's published tolerance are covered by that manufacturer's warranty terms rather than replaced as damage.
