Refund Policy
All sales are final
Direct Cabinet Deals does not accept returns, issue refunds, or honor satisfaction-based return requests. This applies to every order, complete or partial, across every brand we carry.
We state this plainly and up front so there are no surprises after checkout.
Why the policy works this way
Factory-direct cabinets are not shelf items that can be restocked. Every order is built or pulled to your specific configuration, including door style, finish, box dimensions and hardware. The moment your order is placed, production and fulfillment are committed to those exact specs.
That is the trade-off that makes factory-direct pricing possible. Instead of a return window, the protection you get is on damage and defects, and both are real.
Before you order, use the free help.
Measure twice and let our team check your layout. Our free 3D kitchen design service confirms your cabinet list before you buy, and door samples ship at one flat rate so you can see a finish in your own lighting. A configuration error is not a defect, so catching it before checkout is the whole game.
Inspect your delivery before you sign
Cabinet orders move by freight on a pallet. A few minutes of care at delivery protects your claim rights completely.
- Count every carton against your packing list and confirm the quantities match.
- Check each carton for crushing, punctures or water staining.
- Open the cartons and inspect door faces, drawer fronts, frames and interior panels.
- Photograph anything that looks wrong, including the carton exterior and the shipping label, while the driver is still there.
- Write any damaged boxes or pallet damage on the delivery receipt before the driver leaves, even for minor issues. "Damaged" or "subject to inspection" both work.
- Keep all packaging until your claim is fully resolved.
The manufacturers require visible damage to be noted on the delivery receipt at the time of delivery. A receipt signed without a note is treated as a shipment accepted in good condition, so that note is what protects your claim.
Damage and defect claims
If anything arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 7 days of delivery. Send photos of the damaged item, the carton it arrived in, and the shipping label, along with your order number and a written description.
We review your submission and coordinate directly with the manufacturer to verify the claim and order replacement parts, at no cost to you. Approved claims ship replacement components. Full cabinet replacement may apply for significant structural damage, at the manufacturer's discretion.
Resolution is always replacement parts or components. We do not issue cash refunds or accept returned cabinets as part of this process.
Reporting after 7 days makes claims difficult, so please open the cartons and check the contents even if you are not installing right away.
What the manufacturer warranties cover
Fabuwood and Jarlin both warrant defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use. Kitchen Cabinet Distributors (KCD), CNC and Eurocraft cabinets are covered by their own manufacturer warranties: see the KCD warranty, the CNC Cabinetry warranty and the Eurocraft warranty.
| Coverage area | Fabuwood | Jarlin |
|---|---|---|
| Cabinet box | Limited lifetime | Three-year limited |
| Door and drawer front finish | Covered (defects) | Covered (defects) |
| Soft-close hinges and glides | Covered | Covered for as long as you own your home |
| Normal wear and tear | Not covered | Not covered |
| Damage from misuse or improper install | Not covered | Not covered |
Warranties do not cover damage caused by improper installation, misuse, moisture exposure beyond normal kitchen conditions, or modifications to the cabinets. Residential use is required. Full terms are on the Fabuwood warranty page and the Jarlin warranty page.
Natural variation in wood doors
Wood responds to the humidity around it. Slight differences in grain, color depth and movement between doors are normal and are not defects. Doors from different production runs will never be perfectly identical.
Let your cabinets acclimate in the room where they will live for 24 to 48 hours before judging door alignment, and confirm installation and adjustment are correct before requesting a replacement. Doors within the manufacturer's published tolerance are handled under that manufacturer's warranty terms rather than replaced as damage.
Order changes and cancellations
If you need to change or cancel an order, contact us immediately. Once an order has entered production or shipped, it cannot be changed or canceled, and the all-sales-final policy above applies.
