The Cabinet Brands We Carry

We carry five cabinet manufacturers, and they do not overlap as much as you might expect. Fabuwood is the broadest range and the one most people end up in. Jarlin is the value option that still gives you an all-plywood box. KCD covers two price points in one catalog, plywood on the Premier Series and engineered wood on the Builder Series. Eurocraft is the frameless European specialist. This page explains which is which so you can start in the right place.

Why We Carry Five

A single manufacturer cannot cover every price point and every look without cutting corners somewhere. Carrying five lets us match the cabinet to the project instead of talking you into whatever we happen to stock. It also means that when we say a line is right for you, we are not choosing between it and nothing.

All five ship factory-direct. None of them route through a showroom, a designer's markup or a distributor's margin, which is the entire reason the same cabinet costs less here than it does through a design studio.

Fabuwood

Fabuwood is the largest of the five by range and the one we sell most of. Cabinets arrive factory-assembled, with plywood boxes, and the catalog spans six lines: Allure, Illume, Ovela, Quest, Value Premium and the Valencia vanity range. Between them you get over 180 door colors across roughly a dozen door styles.

The lines are genuinely different rather than marketing tiers. Allure and Illume are the flagship ranges. Ovela is a plywood-box line and Illume is engineered furniture board, so those two are not interchangeable despite looking similar on paper. Quest and Value Premium sit lower in price. Valencia is a small furniture-vanity range for bathrooms, with inset doors and square feet.

Fabuwood publishes a full specification book for every line, and we host the current editions on our spec books page so you can check a dimension or a construction detail yourself rather than taking our word for it.

Jarlin

Jarlin is the value choice that does not give up the box. You still get all-plywood construction with soft-close hardware and dovetail drawers, but the door range is narrower and the price is lower. It is available both fully assembled and as RTA, which is where most of the saving comes from if you are comfortable building the boxes yourself.

The door styles are shaker and raised panel, plus a specialty range. If you want a modern slab or a frameless box, Jarlin is not the line to look at.

KCD

Kitchen Cabinet Distributors is the value play that does not read like one. The Premier Series is built on a half inch seven ply plywood box with full overlay doors, solid wood stiles and rails, and undermount full extension slides with metal soft close. That is the specification you normally pay more for. The Builder Series moves to an engineered wood box with a plywood back and partial overlay doors to hit a lower price, but keeps the solid wood face frame and the five eighths inch dovetailed drawer box, which is where cheaper cabinets cut first.

Sixteen finishes across four collections. Brooklyn is the transitional door, Oslo is the slim frame European look, Shaker is the tighter contemporary frame, and Essential is the Builder Series. Eurocraft

Eurocraft is the frameless specialist. Every cabinet is full-access European construction, so there is no face frame narrowing the opening and you get the full interior width of the box. The finish range is where it differs most from the other two: alongside shaker and slim shaker, there are textured wood-look slabs, high-gloss and matte finishes that the American lines do not offer.

If you are building contemporary, or you want maximum usable storage out of a small footprint, this is the line to start with.

CNC Cabinetry

CNC is the newest line we carry and the one with the widest spread of construction. Luxor, Bedford and Concord are framed all-plywood collections, and Concord is the most complete of the three: full overlay, half-inch back panels, finished interiors and soft-close under-mount glides as standard. The Classic collection is frameless, built on a laminate or maple box.

Colour is where it stands out. Broadway and Milano carry twelve finishes each, which is more choice in a single door style than anything else we stock, and Milano's PET slab comes in gloss, matte and textured. CNC sells through dealers only and never direct, so this is the line to look at if you want a manufacturer that is not on every big-box shelf.

How to Choose Between Them

• You want the widest color choice. Fabuwood. Nothing else we carry comes close on range.
• You are working to a tight budget. Jarlin, and RTA rather than assembled if you are willing to build them.
• You want a modern, handleless, full-access kitchen. Eurocraft.
• You want a bathroom vanity that looks like furniture. Fabuwood Valencia.
• You are not sure. Order a sample from two of them. They are $38.99 to $39.99 and the cost comes off your first order.

What Is the Same Across All Five

Every line we carry uses soft-close hinges and drawer runners as standard, and every one ships from a USA warehouse. All five are covered by their manufacturer's own warranty, and the terms differ, so check the line's spec book rather than assuming they match. We price match any written quote on any of the five.

What differs is construction detail, and that is where reading the actual specification pays off. Box material, drawer box thickness and hinge brand are not the same across lines even within one manufacturer.
