Door Styles and Finishes Covered
The book lists six Allure door styles. All six are full overlay doors on the same framed plywood box, with Blum soft-close hinges and Blum Tandem plus Blumotion drawer runners, so the style you pick sets the look while the cabinet underneath stays the same.

On Echo and Luna, stained doors use solid wood stiles and rails and painted doors use HDF. The book notes that some color variation in stained finishes is normal.
The Designer Collection colors
The sample door pages also list the Allure Designer Collection: Cloud White, Denim Blue, Graphite Black, Hunter Green, Pitch Black, Pistachio Green, Sage Green, Cabernet Red, Forest Green, Macadamia Beige, Mint Green, Orchid Purple and Izel Blue. Availability notes worth catching
A diamond symbol next to a code means it is available for Galaxy in Frost, Dove, Indigo, Timber and Desert Oak only. That covers the 21" and 39" high walls, the 93" pantries and oven cabinets, and the matching 39" and 93" fillers, panels and skins. The ADA cabinets are listed for Galaxy Frost only, the arched hoods are not offered in Luna, and the VSD vanity sink and drawer combos are not offered in Nexus. Construction and Specifications
Pages III and IV hold the construction specs. Here they are, with the book's own numbers.
- Cabinet box: 1/2" veneered plywood sides, back, top and bottom with natural finished interiors. Side panels are dovetailed into the face frame, and backs are stapled and screwed in place.
- Face frame: 3/4" x 1-1/2" solid wood stiles and rails joined with glue and dowels, dovetail grooved on the back. Cabinet bottoms sit flush with the top inside edge of the frame.
- Panel beams: 2-1/2" x 1/2" plywood beams set into a dovetail groove at the top of every base, for a straight side and countertop support.
- Doors and drawer fronts: solid wood stiles and rails with mortise and tenon joints and an MDF center panel, which the book calls the preferred material for painted finishes. Doors and drawers are full overlay.
- Drawer boxes: 5/8" solid wood dovetail boxes with 3/8" plywood bottoms on Blum Tandem plus Blumotion full extension, soft-close concealed runners (Blum 563H).
- Hinges: Blum Compact Clip concealed hinges with Quick-Release and Blumotion soft-close, six-way adjustable, opening to 110 degrees (Blum 31C3355B.20). Lazy Susan, Easy Reach and pie cut corner cabinets use hinges without soft-close.
- Shelves: 18mm (3/4") select veneered plywood with matching edge banding on metal shelf clips. Depths are 18" in bases, 10-5/8" in walls and 21" in talls.
- Toe kick: 3/4" x 4-1/2" plywood toe kick built onto bases and talls. The matching 1/4" toe kick cover (TK8) comes in 8 foot lengths and is ordered separately.
- Finished ends: you choose exposed sides (left, right or both) on the order, and Fabuwood applies a 1/4" select MDF panel for a near-flush finished end.

Q12 and the warranty
Page V lists Fabuwood's twelve Q12 quality standards. Page VI is the Limited Lifetime Warranty: Allure cabinets bought through an authorized Fabuwood dealer in the United States or Canada are covered for the first residential purchaser for as long as they own the home. Claims are filed by the original authorized dealer, so an Allure order placed with us has us handling the claim for you.
How to Read the Cabinet Codes
Allure codes read as a prefix, then width, then height, then depth when it differs from standard. Width always comes first, in inches. Base codes skip the height because standard bases are 34-1/2" high and 24" deep. Wall cabinets are 12" deep and come in 12", 15", 18", 21", 24", 30", 36", 39" and 42" heights, and a code that ends in 24 after the height is a 24" deep wall. Most vanity codes end in -34, and the book shows those at 34-1/2" high and 21" deep. Tall pantries read TP, width, depth, height.

Common suffixes: -12D marks a 12" deep base (B24FD-12D), LU is a lift-up wall (W421224LU), and DS in front of a glass door code means a door set with the right number of doors for that cabinet (DS GDW3036). The SKU Glossary on pages 120 and 121 decodes every prefix.
Modifications and Accessories
The modifications section (pages 97 to 115) is where a stock layout gets fitted to your room. The ones buyers use most:
- Depth cuts: CUT-BASE and CUT-DBASE (12" minimum), CUT-SBASE, CUT-WALL and CUT-TALL (4" minimum), and CUT-TK to lower the toe kick.
- Height and glass: CUT-BASE HEIGHT removes the top drawer for a 28-1/8" base under a range top, and CUT-DOOR opens a door's center panel for glass.
- Pipe chases: CHASE-BASE, CHASE-DBASE, CHASE-WALL, CHASE-TALL and CHASE-CORNER.
- Customizations: INCREASE-BASE, INCREASE-WALL and INCREASE-TALL for deeper boxes, PEN-CABINET for a peninsula, RECESS-TK, FLUSH-WALL BOTTOM, MATCH-INTERIOR and CHOOSE-INTERIOR, INSERT BROOM DIVIDER (a 6" broom section in a pantry), TK DRAWER and 2-TONE FINISH on chimney hoods.
- Custom sizes: CUSTOM CLM columns from 1-1/2" to 6" wide and up to 96" high, and custom doors and drawer fronts in 1/16" increments.
Accessories include trash pullouts (TC18 BLUM holds two 35 qt. cans), ROD roll out drawers, the MLU-B18 mixer lift, the CHD-B18 BLUM charging drawer, cutlery inserts and floating shelves (FLS24 through FLS60, with LED versions).
For trim, the book lists fillers (BF3, WF342, TF396, OLF overlay fillers), crown moldings CM-1 through CM-9 in 8 or 10 foot lengths, STRM-8 starter molding (recommended as bracing for crown), LRM light rail and TKC toe kick caps. Panels include BEP base end panels, REP refrigerator end panels, SK finished end skins, WP wainscot panels and CLM columns. The hood pages cover five wood hood families (RHE, RHF, RHS, RHCA and RHA) with stainless liners and Broan RHBB blower inserts at 250, 400 and 600 CFM.
How to Use the Spec Book When You Order
1. Measure first. Get wall lengths, openings, plumbing and ceiling height before you pick a code. Our guide to measuring a kitchen for cabinets walks through it, and the Height Alignment Guide on pages 117 to 119 shows how 84", 90" and 96" layouts line up.
2. Build the list by code. Write one line per cabinet, wall by wall, using the exact code from the book. Our Fabuwood Allure guide helps if you are still choosing a door style.
3. Add the parts that finish the job. Blind corners need a filler that is not included, the 1/4" toe kick cover is ordered separately, and each exposed end should be marked on the list. Our guide to fillers, panels and toe kicks covers what to add.
4. Confirm the color. Stained finishes vary, and screens shift color. The book's sample codes follow the door style and color (SDGF is Galaxy Frost), and you can order door samples to see the finish in your own light before you commit.
