Every product table lists the item code, outer width, height and depth, and availability columns for each door style. A dash means that item is not offered in that style.
KCD Door Styles and Finishes in the 2026 Catalog
KCD splits the line into two series. The Premier Series (Oslo, Shaker and Brooklyn) is full overlay, and the Builder Series (Essential) is partial overlay. Each finish carries a two-letter code printed under its swatch on pages 3 and 4, which helps when you match a line item to a color.

Two finish details are easy to miss. Shaker White comes standard with slab drawer fronts and can be upgraded to 5-piece fronts. Oslo uses a single drawer on base cabinets up to 36 inches and on every vanity size.

Construction and Specifications
Pages 3 and 4 each carry a lettered spec sheet, and page 12 repeats both sheets side by side as a product comparison. Here is what the book states for each series.

Standard sizes are printed with each coding diagram. Base cabinets are 34.5 inches high and 24 inches deep. Wall cabinets are 12 inches deep, refrigerator wall cabinets 24 inches deep, tall cabinets 24 inches deep and vanities 21 inches deep. The ADA compatible bases on page 18 are built at 32.5 inches high. Every coding note adds the same reminder: add door thickness for total cabinet depth.

How to Read KCD Cabinet Codes
A KCD code starts with letters for the cabinet type, followed by the width in inches. Wall and tall codes then add the height, because those come in several heights. Base codes stop at the width, since every standard base is 34.5 inches high and 24 inches deep.
So W3036 is a wall cabinet 30 inches wide and 36 inches high, at the standard 12 inch depth. Refrigerator wall cabinets add a third number for depth: W361824 is 36 wide, 18 high and 24 deep. Tall codes follow the wall pattern, so P2496 is a pantry 24 wide and 96 high.
Common prefixes include W (wall), BW (blind wall), MWC (microwave wall), B (base), DB (drawer base), SB (sink base), BB (blind base), P (pantry), OC (oven cabinet) and V, VSB and VDB for vanities. Suffixes add detail: -2 shows up on the 24 inch double door sizes (W2430-2, B24-2, V24-2), -3 marks the three drawer bases, -FH marks full height door bases, and the ADA pieces carry -RH or -ACC.

Blind corners are where codes and real sizes part ways. BB36 is actually 30 inches wide and BB42 is 36 inches wide, while BB48 is 48. Page 15 says to position the blind side of a BB36 or BB42 6 to 9 inches from the adjacent wall (0 to 3 inches for a BB48), with at least a 3 inch filler next to the adjacent cabinet. Blind wall cabinets sit 1 to 3 inches off the adjacent wall with a 3 inch filler. Fillers are not included with either, so add them to your list.
The book also flags rolling changes. Premier B27, B30, B33 and B36 are moving to a one-drawer design, SB30, SB33 and SB36 to a single false front drawer, and vanities V27 through V36 to a single false front drawer. During the change, inventory may vary, so we confirm the current version when we quote.
Modifications and Accessories
Page 27 lists KCD's standard modifications. Modifications require assembled cabinets, and some are not available on every line.

Moldings on pages 19 and 20 come in 96 inch lengths. The list covers traditional crown (CM8), large crown (BCM8), cove crown (COM8), royal crown (RCM8), Shaker crown (SCM8), traditional and transitional light rail (LRM8, LRMT8), batten (BAM8), bottom edge (BEM8), furniture base (FBM8), outside corner (OCM8), shoe (SHOE) and scribe (SCRIBE).
Fillers and panels include 3 and 6 inch fillers (F396, F696), overlay fillers (OLF series), toe kick (TKS8, 96 x 4.5 x 1/4 inch), a 1/2 inch finished plywood panel (PSP4896), a tall end panel (TEP3096) and a dishwasher end panel (DWR3). The accessory pages add bunfeet, corbels, decorative panels, valances and turned posts.
The inserts on pages 22 and 23 list the cabinet each one fits. The YN-ROT30-SC roll out tray, for example, fits a B30, SB30, P3084, P3090 or P3096, and the YN-LSK lazy Susan kit fits the Easy Reach base. The final pages cover decorative hardware in six finishes, range hoods with Broan and Tradewind inserts, and floating shelves in six widths at a 12 inch depth.
