About Fabuwood Quest Quest
Quest is stocked in a range of finishes, available across the full cabinet range — base, wall, tall/pantry, vanity, plus the panels, moldings and accessories needed to finish a run.
One door style, every color
Quest is a door style in the Fabuwood Quest line. Because it is one style within Fabuwood Quest, the cabinet box and hardware are identical no matter which color you choose — the color changes the look, not the build.
That means you can compare finishes purely on appearance, knowing the construction underneath is the same.
The Quest door
The five-piece Quest traditional overlay door has an MDF recessed center panel captured in a 3/4" solid frame, matched by a five-piece drawer front.
How Fabuwood Quest Quest cabinets are built
Taken from Fabuwood’s published Quest specification guide — these apply to every Quest cabinet we sell.
Solid wood face frame
3/4" x 1-1/2" solid wood stiles and rails jointed with glue and dowels, grooved at the back to accept the side panels.
Veneered plywood box
1/2" veneered plywood sides, backs, tops and bottoms with natural finished interiors; the backs are stapled and screwed for extra support.
Dovetail drawer boxes
5/8" solid wood dovetail drawer box with a 3/8" plywood bottom on Tandem plus Blumotion 80%-extension concealed runners (#554H5330B01).
Blum soft-close hinges
Compact Blumotion soft-close (#38N355B.06) integrated in concealed, six-way adjustable hinges.
Toe kick & warranty
A 3/4" x 4-1/2" plywood toe kick is added to each assembled cabinet, and matching 8-foot lengths are available to finish the run. Fabuwood Quest cabinets carry Fabuwood’s Limited 5-Year Warranty — see our warranty information.
See Quest in your own kitchen first
Cabinet color is the hardest thing to judge on a screen.
Why a door sample helps
Screens and showroom lighting both shift how a finish reads. A door sample shows you the real finish, the door profile and the sheen next to your own countertop, flooring and light — before you commit to a full kitchen.
What a free 3D design covers
- Your room measured and laid out to scale
- A full cabinet list built around your Quest finish
- The fillers, panels and moldings the run needs
- An itemized quote, with no obligation

Are Fabuwood Quest Quest cabinets assembled or RTA?
