Fabuwood Siena: New Frameless Door Style Coming September 2026

Fabuwood Siena flat wood grain cabinet door in a warm mid brown matte finish

Fabuwood has announced Siena, a new frameless door style landing on the Illume and Ovela lines in September 2026. Here is what the door looks like, what is already known about the two lines it is coming to, and what you can buy online today while you wait.

What Fabuwood Siena Is

Siena is a door style, not a new cabinet line. That distinction matters more than it sounds, because it tells you almost everything about what you will be buying.

Illume and Ovela each offer two door collections today: Catalina, a full overlay slab, and Tuscany. Siena becomes the third choice on both. Because it arrives on lines that already exist, the box construction, materials and drawer hardware do not change. Only the door face is new.

It also means you can evaluate most of the cabinet right now. Order an Illume or Ovela door sample today and you are holding the same box, the same hinges and the same drawer construction Siena will ship with.

The Siena Door

Siena is a flat door in a warm mid brown wood grain. The surface is matte rather than gloss, and the figure runs vertically down the door with a soft, natural variation from board to board.

The face is clean and unbroken, with no raised profile or applied detail. Set frameless, the doors sit tight to each other so a run reads as one continuous wood surface rather than a row of separate fronts.

It is a quieter, warmer direction than the high gloss finishes Illume is known for, and closer in spirit to the wood tones that have been driving Fabuwood's recent releases.

Siena is not orderable yet. Fabuwood has announced it for September 2026 and has not published finishes, door sizes or pricing. We will put the real numbers on this page the day they are released rather than estimate them. Call (833) 496-2227 or email orders@directcabinetdeals.com and we will tell you first.

Illume and Ovela, the Two Lines Getting Siena

Both are frameless, and both are worth understanding before you decide which one you are actually shopping.

Fabuwood Illume

European frameless cabinets with slab and slim shaker doors, offered in matte and high gloss finishes. The two current door collections are Catalina, a slab, and Tuscany, a slim shaker. Illume carries the widest finish range of the two, including a full set of gloss options.

Fabuwood Ovela

Frameless cabinets built on an all plywood box with a solid wood dovetail drawer box. The two current door collections are Catalina slab and Tuscany five piece. Ovela ships in roughly two to four weeks, with lead times confirmed at the time of order.

What Frameless Changes in a Kitchen

Frameless is the biggest practical difference between these lines and a traditional framed cabinet, and it is worth knowing before you order either one.

More usable space inside. A framed cabinet has a wood frame across the front opening that you reach around. Frameless removes it, so drawers run closer to the full interior width and shelves are easier to load.

Tighter, more continuous fronts. With no frame showing, doors sit close together across a run. The result reads as one surface rather than a row of separate boxes, which is why frameless suits contemporary kitchens and why a flat wood door like Siena works well on it.

Installation is less forgiving. Frameless cabinets need level, square walls and careful shimming, because there is no frame to hide a gap. That is a good reason to have your layout checked before you order.

Fabuwood Keeps Adding, and It Is Worth Watching

Siena is the latest in a run of releases, and if you are planning a kitchen right now, knowing what is coming can be worth a few weeks of patience.

Fabuwood introduced Natural Oak earlier this year, a rift cut white oak finish that reads soft and sun washed with warm sandy undertones and authentic flecking, finished with a clear glaze. It arrived on the Allure lines and became one of the most asked about finishes almost immediately. You can buy it online now in both Allure Galaxy and Allure Luna.

The two oaks in the range get compared constantly, and they are not interchangeable. If Siena arrives in a wood finish, it is the same decision again. Our Natural Oak vs Desert Oak guide walks through the difference.

The pattern is worth noting. Natural Oak was a finish on the framed Allure family. Siena is a door profile on the frameless side. That tells you where Fabuwood is investing, and frameless is where most contemporary kitchens have been heading.

Should You Wait for Siena or Order Now?

It comes down to your timeline. If your kitchen is going in before late fall, order Catalina or Tuscany now rather than waiting on a launch date that has not been confirmed. Lead times are real, and a delayed door style is a bad reason to push a whole project.

If your timeline runs into the fall anyway, it is worth seeing Siena before you commit. Order a door sample from the line you are leaning toward in the meantime, because the box, hinges and drawer hardware will be identical.

Be First to Know When Siena Opens

Send us your layout and finish direction now. When Fabuwood releases Siena pricing we will quote your kitchen the same day, and you will not lose your place in the schedule while you wait.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I buy Fabuwood Siena online right now?

Not yet. Fabuwood has announced it for September 2026 and has not released pricing or sizes. You can buy Illume and Ovela online today in the Catalina and Tuscany door styles, and we will contact you the day Siena opens.

Is Siena a new cabinet line?

No. It is a new door style on two lines that already exist, Illume and Ovela. The box construction behind the door does not change, which means everything except the door face is already available to order and sample today.

Is Siena framed or frameless?

Frameless, the same as the rest of Illume and Ovela. There is no face frame across the front of the cabinet, so the door covers nearly the whole opening and the interior is reachable edge to edge.

What finishes will Siena come in?

Fabuwood has not published the finish range. The announcement shows a warm mid brown wood grain, but one door is not a color list. We will post the full range when it is released.

Can I order a Siena door sample?

Not until Fabuwood releases them. Illume and Ovela samples in Catalina and Tuscany are available now, and they show you the same finish quality, box construction and hardware Siena will share.

Will Siena cost more than Catalina or Tuscany?

Fabuwood has not published pricing, so we do not know. We will post the real numbers here rather than an estimate.

What else has Fabuwood released recently?

Natural Oak, a rift cut white oak finish on the Allure lines, is the most recent addition before Siena. Our Natural Oak vs Desert Oak guide compares it against the other oak in the range.
