What Fabuwood Siena Is
Siena is a door style, not a new cabinet line. It joins Catalina and Tuscany as the third door choice on Fabuwood Illume and Fabuwood Ovela, so the cabinet box, hinges and drawers are the same ones those lines already use. Only the door face is new.
Fabuwood describes Siena as a clean, flat door that gets its character from the grain rather than from molding or applied trim. Its creative director, Kerrie Kelly, calls the effect "almost textile-like."
The Siena Door: Grain That Runs Both Ways
A traditional slab door is one smooth, flat surface. Siena keeps that flat, modern profile but builds the face from sections with grain running in two directions: the side pieces run vertically and the center runs horizontally.
The vertical grain draws the eye up, and the horizontal grain carries it across a run of cabinets. Together they give a wall of cabinetry rhythm and movement, so it reads as an architectural feature rather than a row of plain fronts. Every Siena finish is textured, so the grain can be felt as well as seen.
See it in your own light. A photo shows the color and grain direction, but not the texture or how the finish changes from morning to evening. We recommend ordering a Siena door sample in the finishes you like before you choose.
All 23 Siena Finishes
Siena comes only in Fabuwood's textured wood-look finishes. Every finish is priced online on both lines: choose Ovela or Illume to shop its cabinets.
Illume or Ovela: Which Siena Fits Your Kitchen
Both lines are frameless, so the doors attach directly to the cabinet box for a clean exterior and full access inside. The difference is in how the box and drawers are built.
Fabuwood Illume
European-style frameless construction with an engineered furniture board box, white linen-finished interiors and Blum MERIVOBOX metal drawers. A sleek, modern build that suits a contemporary kitchen. Shop Fabuwood Illume
Fabuwood Ovela
American-style frameless construction with plywood cabinet boxes, natural wood veneer interiors and solid wood dovetail drawers. The choice if you want plywood and dovetail drawers behind the Siena doors. Shop Fabuwood Ovela
Where Siena Works Best
Siena suits organic modern, Japandi, Scandinavian and contemporary interiors. In a minimal kitchen it becomes a quiet focal point, and in a transitional room it adds warmth and texture.
It also works beyond the kitchen: bathroom vanities, bars, pantries, laundry rooms, home offices and built-ins.
Fabuwood suggests pairing Siena with the smooth Catalina slab. Use Siena on tall cabinets or an island where you want movement, and Catalina on the wall cabinets for a calmer counterpoint. Natural stone, rift-cut woods, unlacquered brass, bronze and soft matte finishes all sit well alongside it.

Can I buy Fabuwood Siena now?
Yes. Siena is released, and you can order Siena cabinets and door samples online today. Send us your layout and we will quote your kitchen in Siena on the Illume or Ovela line.
Is Siena a slab door?
Siena has a flat, slab-style profile with no raised panel or applied trim, but the face is built from sections with grain running both vertically and horizontally, which gives it more movement than a single-grain slab.
How many finishes does Siena come in?
23 textured finishes, from pale woods such as Ice Cream and Natural Elm to deep browns such as Nocce 3 and Olmo 3.
Which cabinet lines offer Siena?
Fabuwood Illume and Fabuwood Ovela, the two frameless Fabuwood lines. Illume uses an engineered furniture board box with Blum metal drawers, and Ovela uses plywood boxes with solid wood dovetail drawers.
Can I mix Siena with other doors?
Yes. Fabuwood suggests pairing Siena with the Catalina slab on the same line, for example Siena on the island and tall cabinets and Catalina on the wall cabinets.
