• Echo, at 5/16 inch, is the narrowest frame we carry. The panel dominates and the door reads distinctly modern, closer to a slab with a hairline outline than to a traditional shaker.
• Luna, at 3/4 inch, is slim and current but keeps a visible shaker rhythm across a run of cabinets.
• Galaxy, at 2 1/2 inches, is the classic proportion, the one most people picture when they say shaker kitchen.
• Nexus, at 3 1/4 inches, is the widest and most traditional, with the strongest shadow lines of the four.

The short version: if you want the white to dominate and the frame to disappear, go narrow. If you want visible shadow lines and a more settled, traditional room, go wide. Cloud White is offered on Echo, Galaxy, Luna and Nexus, so you can have the same shade in any of the four frame widths, and Frost is offered on Galaxy and Nexus.

• Solid wood face frames on the front of each cabinet, giving the doors a firm edge to hang from and keeping the box square.
• Solid wood dovetail drawer boxes, an interlocking corner joint that keeps a drawer square under the weight of stacked plates rather than working loose.
• Blum soft-close hinges and runners for a quiet, controlled close on both doors and drawers, and full extension so the back of a deep drawer is easy to reach.
• Factory-applied finishes, sprayed and cured in a controlled environment rather than on site, which is what gives a painted door its smooth, hard surface.

One detail is specific to painted doors and worth understanding. Fabuwood builds its painted shaker doors with HDF rails and stiles, which simply means the vertical and horizontal frame pieces around the center panel are engineered board rather than solid wood. That is a deliberate choice: engineered board moves far less as humidity changes through the year, which helps keep the painted joints crisp for the life of the kitchen. The cabinet box is plywood and the face frame is solid wood.

Picking a Finish

Whites carry undertones that only reveal themselves next to another material, which is what makes them the hardest finish to judge from a screen. Here is how ours differ.

Cloud White is softer and warmer, with a faint cream undertone. It sits beautifully with warm floors, brass hardware and south-facing rooms where the light is already golden.

Frost is brighter and cooler, closer to a true white. It reads crisp against gray quartz, stainless appliances and black hardware, and it is the one to choose if you want the kitchen to feel sharp and contemporary.

Hallmark Frost gives you that same bright white in our most affordable line, which makes it a strong option for a rental, a budget-led project or a quick refresh.

Cream White from Jarlin is warmer again, with a buttery cast that suits traditional kitchens, wood floors and bronze hardware.

Dove White from Jarlin sits between the two, a gentle neutral white and a reliable middle ground when a room has both warm and cool elements in it.

Because white is offered across the full range, you can choose how much to spend without giving up the look. Fabuwood Value Premium Hallmark Frost is the most affordable route, with Fabuwood Quest Discovery Frost close behind. Jarlin sits in the middle with Cream White and Dove White, and the Fabuwood Allure collections are the premium tier. Within Allure, the Galaxy door is priced a step below Echo, Luna and Nexus, so the same Cloud White costs less on Galaxy. Spread across a full kitchen, choosing Galaxy over a wider door in the same white can pay for the countertop upgrade.

Designing With This Collection

White is a background color, so the interest in a white shaker kitchen comes from what you put around it. Three moves do most of the work.

Give the countertop some movement. A stone with real veining reads far better against white shaker than a flat white quartz, because the doors are already providing quiet, regular geometry and the counter is where the eye wants variation.

Add a contrasting island. A wood-tone or navy island under a white perimeter is one of the most reliable layouts there is. The shaker profile stays consistent across both, so the room still reads as one kitchen.

Choose hardware with weight. Unlacquered brass, matte black and gunmetal all register against white, where a thin polished chrome pull tends to disappear into the door. On a wide Nexus frame there is room for a substantial pull; on a narrow Echo frame, something slimmer keeps the proportions right.

If you are drawn to an all-white kitchen and want to keep the cabinets as the calm element, put the contrast in the backsplash instead. A handmade-look tile with irregular edges gives the room texture without adding another color.

Good to Know

Soft-close comes fitted throughout, on doors and drawers, with the corner specialties as the exception. Lazy Susan, Easy Reach and Wall Pie Cut cabinets are supplied without the mechanism, which is helpful to know when planning that corner.

Painted whites vary slightly between production runs, as any painted product does. Ordering everything for the kitchen in one go is the simplest way to keep a long run perfectly consistent.

Hold your sample against the wall paint as well as the countertop. A warm white in a room with cool gray walls, or a cool white in a warm room, is the mismatch that shows up most often, and it is easy to avoid by checking both surfaces before you order.
