Door Styles Available

A shaker door is a five-piece door: four frame pieces around a flat recessed center panel. It has been the most ordered profile in American kitchens for years because it suits a farmhouse, a transitional and a modern room equally well. Three lines carry it in a wood tone here.

• Fabuwood Allure is the framed, all-plywood line and carries the classic shaker proportion. Framed means there is a solid wood face frame across the front of the box, the construction most American cabinets have always used. Wood tones appear on the Echo, Fusion, Galaxy and Luna doors.
• Fabuwood Illume Tuscany is the frameless five-piece door. Frameless means there is no face frame across the front, which simply means the door opens onto the full interior width of the cabinet and nothing sits in the way when you reach toward the back. • Jarlin Toffee Shaker is a framed, stained shaker in a mid-amber tone and the value option of the group. Jarlin is worth a look if you are pricing a large kitchen.

What You Get in Every Box

Two of the three lines sit on completely different boxes, and that difference matters more day to day than the finish name on the label.

Fabuwood Allure is a plywood box with a solid wood face frame at the front. Plywood gives you a foundation that holds a screw properly, which is what keeps hinges and drawer glides tight after years of opening. Drawer boxes are solid wood with dovetail joints, which means the corners interlock like fingers rather than relying on staples, so a drawer carrying pans stays square. Hinges are Blum Compact Clip with Blumotion soft-close, and drawers ride on Blum Tandem plus Blumotion full-extension concealed runners. Full extension means the drawer clears the cabinet completely, so the back of it is somewhere you can actually see and reach.

Fabuwood Illume Tuscany is built on three-quarter inch engineered furniture board with a white linen interior that keeps the inside of a cabinet bright. Its drawers use the Blum MERIVOBOX metal drawer system with an indium gray interior rather than dovetail. The frameless box is the practical reason people pick this line: a wider opening and full access across the whole cabinet.

Jarlin is framed on a half-inch plywood box, with a three-quarter by one-and-a-half inch hardwood face frame that is double doweled for rigidity. Drawer boxes are dovetail with five-eighths inch solid wood sides and no finger joints.

Available Finishes

Wood tone is a category rather than one color, and the range here runs from pale rift-cut oak all the way to a near-espresso brown.

Within Fabuwood Allure, Desert Oak is the palest, a light rift-cut oak look offered on Galaxy and Luna. Timber sits in the middle as a warm mid-brown oak on Echo, Fusion, Galaxy and Luna, and it is the easiest of the group to build a whole kitchen around. Truffle runs deeper and grayer than Timber, on Galaxy and Luna. Kona is the darkest Allure stain, a rich coffee brown on Fusion and Luna that looks handsome on an island with a lighter perimeter. Mocha leans warmer and redder, on Echo and Galaxy, and Cobblestone and Horizon are the grayed, weathered tones on Galaxy.

Fabuwood Illume Tuscany covers Como Ash, Frappe, Ida, Muratti, Nocce, Olmo, Rosales and Woodline. These are printed textures rather than stained wood, so the grain is identical from the first door to the last with no variation between panels. In a large kitchen that consistency is genuinely useful, and the calmer textures such as Como Ash and Frappe are the ones to look at if you already have a busy countertop.

Jarlin Toffee Shaker is a stained mid-amber that reads friendly and traditional, and it stretches a budget further than any other wood tone here. Putting the Kitchen Together

Floors are where wood tone kitchens are won. Cabinets and flooring in the same tonal family but not quite the same tone tend to read as two near misses rather than a match. Two approaches work reliably: contrast the tones clearly, pairing pale Desert Oak with a mid or dark floor and dark Kona with a pale one, or separate the two with a different material altogether so tile, stone or a poured floor sits between them.

For countertops, white and light gray quartz keeps the room bright and lets the grain lead. Warmer creams suit the redder finishes such as Mocha. Heavily veined marble-look surfaces have plenty of movement of their own, so they sit more comfortably next to a calm texture like Como Ash or Frappe than next to a strongly figured oak.

Hardware sets the temperature of the whole room. Matte black sharpens a mid-brown stain and pushes it modern, brushed brass warms it and suits a softer kitchen, and brushed nickel keeps a gray-leaning finish such as Truffle or Cobblestone cool and quiet. Because grain and undertone shift under your own lighting, a screen only gets you so far. Good to Know

Soft-close hinges and glides are standard across all three lines. Lazy Susan, Easy Reach and Wall Pie Cut cabinets are supplied without the mechanism, so plan the corner with that in mind.

Fabuwood assigns each finish to a price column, and the pale rift-cut oaks sit a column above the mid-brown stains. On a thirty inch double door base cabinet in Allure Galaxy, Timber or Truffle comes in around five hundred and twenty dollars while Desert Oak is closer to six hundred and twenty-five. In Allure Luna the same pattern holds at a higher starting point, roughly six hundred and thirty-eight dollars against seven hundred and sixty-six. A Timber or Truffle kitchen therefore stretches further, and a Jarlin Toffee kitchen further still.

The Illume Tuscany wood grain textures are not pattern matched across a run, so the grain does not carry continuously from one door to the next. Most people read that as the natural variation you would see in timber anyway.

Fabuwood added Natural Oak to Allure Galaxy and Luna in August 2026, ahead of its announced September date. It is a rift-cut white oak that sits alongside Desert Oak rather than replacing it, and it is orderable yet. If your project lands later in the year, it is worth knowing that both will be available.
