The CNC PLUS colors program gives you a curated palette of 10 hand-painted finishes and 3 rift-cut white oak stains, all made to order through CNC Cabinetry, so you can build a kitchen that feels truly custom without paying custom-shop prices. Whether you are drawn to warm creamy whites, moody greens, or honey-toned wood grain, there is a PLUS finish built for your space and your door style.
What Is the CNC PLUS Program?
CNC Cabinetry developed the PLUS program as a made-to-order finishing tier that sits above the standard stocked colors. Every cabinet in the program ships assembled, not flat-pack, and comes standard with Blum soft-close concealed hinges and full-extension soft-close drawer glides. Because each order is painted or stained specifically for you, lead times are longer than stocked lines: paint colors take about 4 to 6 weeks to deliver, while the three PLUS stains (Ale, Bourbon and Wheat) take about 5 to 7 weeks. The one exception is Classic Woodbourne, which is available in White plus all 16 PLUS colors and ships in about 3 to 5 weeks regardless of color choice.
The result is a cabinet that competes visually with semi-custom lines at a factory-direct price. Freight for CNC orders starts at $350 and is confirmed with you before your order is processed.

Color Groups Explained: Finding Your Palette
Warm Whites and Neutrals
Sleek White, Linen and Sahara form the warm white and neutral tier. Sleek White is the brightest of the three, a good choice for smaller kitchens where you want maximum light bounce. Linen reads creamier and works beautifully with natural wood accents. Sahara leans into earthy beige territory, making it a natural companion for terracotta, warm stone or warm-toned hardware. All three pair well with kitchens explored on our white kitchen cabinets guide.
Blues
Adirondack Blue is the palette's only blue. It sits in the dusty, desaturated range, closer to a classic English country blue than a bright navy, and it layers well with white upper cabinets and natural wood hardware. For more blue inspiration, visit our blue kitchen cabinets page.
Greens
Sage, Mountain Stream and Evergreen give you three very different interpretations of green. Sage is soft and muted, a gentle herbal tone that feels calm in both modern and transitional kitchens. Mountain Stream reads as a gray-leaning sage with a slightly cooler undertone, perfect for open-plan spaces. Evergreen is the boldest of the trio, a rich, saturated forest green that works best on a kitchen island or lower cabinets against white uppers. Browse our green kitchen cabinets guide for layout ideas.
Darks and Moody Tones
Rumors, Cracked Pepper and Jet Black anchor the dark end of the palette. Rumors is the most unconventional option, a dusty mauve-purple that pairs with warm metallic hardware for a collected, artistic look. Cracked Pepper is a warm dark charcoal that reads almost black in low light but shows its warmth next to lighter countertops. Jet Black is exactly what it sounds like: a flat, graphic matte black that is a strong choice for a bold two-tone kitchen. See more options on our black kitchen cabinets and gray kitchen cabinets pages.
Rift-Cut White Oak Stains
The three stain colors (Ale, Bourbon and Wheat) are only available on Concord Sydney, Concord Newport and Classic Versailles. Rift-cut white oak has a straight, consistent grain pattern that stains more evenly than plain-sawn wood, so the color reads cleanly across every door face. Ale is the warmest and most natural-looking medium brown. Bourbon pushes amber and is the richest of the three. Wheat is the lightest, delivering a Scandinavian-influenced honey tone. All three ship in about 5 to 7 weeks. For a broader look at warm wood cabinet options, visit our wood-tone kitchen cabinets page.
Pro tip: Order a door sample before placing your full cabinet order. PLUS finishes are painted by hand in small batches, and seeing the actual color in your kitchen's lighting, next to your countertop material and flooring, prevents surprises. Samples arrive in 5 to 8 days.

What is the difference between Concord and Classic series in the CNC PLUS program?
Concord is a framed cabinet construction and Classic is frameless. If you want a traditional full-overlay framed look, Concord Elegant, Fashion, Richmond, Sydney and Newport are your options. If you prefer a frameless, European-style box with flush cabinet openings, Classic Versailles, Classic Highland and Classic Woodbourne are the PLUS-eligible frameless lines.
