You need a price that survives a competitive bid, a specification you can repeat across units without rethinking it, an itemized list you can hand to a client, and freight that turns up when the drywall is done. Who Wholesale Kitchen Cabinets Suit Best

Contractors, builders, remodelers and property managers all order from us, and the common thread is volume of decisions rather than volume of dollars. Where This Color Works Best

On a trade job, color is a specification decision as much as a design one, because consistency across units is worth more than variety.

For rental, multi-unit and spec work, standardize. White in Cloud White or Frost is the safest specification we ship: it suits any countertop a future owner might install, it keeps small apartment kitchens bright, and it is the color the lowest-priced lines are built around. Gray, warm or cool, is the usual second choice where a developer wants the units to feel a little more current.

For owner-occupied remodels the conversation opens up. Blue covers denim, indigo and navy, green runs sage through forest and hunter, black is a matte graphite, and the wood tone group spans oak, walnut and espresso looks. Cabernet red and orchid purple are available where a client wants something with a clear point of view. A practical approach that keeps installs simple: a colored island or base run against a white or gray perimeter gives the client the effect they are asking for while most of the order stays on your standard finish.

Inside the Cabinet

The right specification depends on who is paying and what they will notice. These are the three groupings most of our trade volume falls into.

• Rental, multi-unit and flip work. Fabuwood Value Premium and Quest both give you a plywood box, a solid wood face frame and dovetail drawer boxes at the bottom of the range. Value Premium runs full-extension drawers, Quest runs eighty percent extension and offers more than one color. Both hold up well in units where the specification will never be read.
• Owner-occupied remodels. Allure takes most of our remodel volume. Six door styles sit on one cabinet specification, which means you can quote three very different looks to three clients without changing your install process at all.
• Budget-led whole kitchens. Jarlin carries under-mount full-extension soft-close glides and dovetail drawer boxes at a price that leaves room in the rest of the budget, and it is available flat-packed where site access is difficult.

Two terms worth being precise about when you are writing a spec. Dovetail means the drawer box corners interlock rather than being stapled, which is what keeps a loaded drawer square over years of tenant or homeowner use. Full extension means the drawer travels clear of the cabinet, so the whole drawer is usable rather than the front two thirds.

Colors and Finishes to Consider

Finish consistency is the thing that goes wrong most often on a phased job. Stained wood finishes vary slightly between production runs, so where the schedule allows, order the whole kitchen at once. On a multi-phase development, order per building rather than per unit if you can, and keep the stained finishes to areas that are delivered together. Painted finishes are more consistent, but the same principle is worth applying on any large job. The other consistency advantage is repeat specification. If you fit the same kitchen across multiple units, we keep the cabinet list on file and reprice it rather than making you rebuild it each time. A scope change then becomes a line edit rather than a renegotiation, which is the whole reason itemized quotes matter more on a trade job than the headline number does.

Bringing the Room Together

Freight is where a smooth job and an awkward one part company, so build two things into the schedule rather than discovering them on the day.

Somewhere to put them. Cabinets arrive on a pallet by freight, and a full kitchen takes real floor space that needs to be dry and reasonably level. On an occupied remodel, agree that space with the client in advance rather than negotiating it while the driver waits.

The route in. Assembled tall pantry and oven cabinets are the ones that do not make a tight stair turn, so measure the narrowest point rather than the front door. Where access is genuinely difficult, flat-packed cabinets solve it outright, since cartons go up a staircase one at a time.

Inspect the pallet before signing. Freight damage is straightforward to resolve when it is documented at delivery with photographs, and considerably less so a week later.

Multi-unit orders can ship together or be staged by phase, which matters on a site with nowhere to store thirty boxes. Tell us the sequence you want and we will schedule around it.

Good to Know

Soft-close is standard across the lines we carry, with the corner specialties as the exception. Lazy Susan, Easy Reach and Wall Pie Cut cabinets are supplied without the mechanism, which is worth noting in a spec document before a corner gets designed.

Order the fillers, finished end panels, moldings and toe kick with the cabinets rather than after them. On a trade job a second freight delivery for a single finished end panel costs more in lost time than the panel is worth.

There is no minimum order and no volume threshold to clear. Pricing is not a tier you qualify for, so a single-kitchen remodel and a twelve-unit building are quoted on the same basis.

Warranty and Ordering Information

Warranty terms are per manufacturer rather than per supplier, and it is worth confirming which applies before it goes into a client-facing document. Fabuwood carries its Limited Lifetime Warranty on purchases made on or after 1 October 2024. Jarlin and Eurocraft carry their own separate terms.
