Fabuwood

Allure Galaxy, at 2 1/2 inches, is the classic proportion, the one most people picture when they say shaker kitchen, in Cloud White and Frost. Allure Fusion, at 3 inches, adds a soft molded profile on the inside edge of the frame for a more detailed, furniture-like door, in Cloud White. Allure Nexus, at 3 1/4 inches, is the widest and most traditional, with the strongest shadow lines on the page, in Cloud White and Frost. Every Allure door sits on the same box and hardware, so the choice between them is entirely about the face of the kitchen.

Quest Discovery carries Frost on a 2 1/4 inch solid wood rail with a traditional overlay, so a border of the painted face frame shows between the doors, and Quest Metro carries Frost on a 2 inch rail the same way. Value Premium Hallmark Frost is the most affordable white in the Fabuwood range. Illume Tuscany and Ovela Tuscany carry Blanco as a five-piece shaker door on a frameless box, so the door covers the whole opening and you reach the full width of the cabinet.

Jarlin

Jarlin carries Dove White, Cream White and Soda on a full overlay shaker door. Cabinets are stocked fully assembled or ready to assemble, and you choose the build on each cabinet's own page.

Eurocraft

Eurocraft carries Stratus on a five-piece laminate shaker door with a clean square frame, on a frameless European box. The same finish is also offered on the Eurocraft slim shaker door if you want a narrower frame.

KCD

Brooklyn carries Bright White on a transitional profile that sits comfortably between modern and traditional, with full overlay doors in KCD's Premier Series. Shaker Designer White comes two ways, with a slab drawer front or a five-piece drawer front, and that drawer front is the only difference between the two collections. Essential carries White in the Builder Series, a partial overlay door at a lower price.

CNC

Luxor is a 2 1/2 inch shaker door with a semi-full overlay and a 1/2 inch reveal, and the quickest CNC line to ship. Luxor 5-Piece is the same door with a five-piece drawer front. In the full overlay Concord box, Elegant and Fashion are five-piece solid wood doors with a flat center panel and mortise and tenon joinery, Newport narrows the frame to 3/4 inch with a reeded door upgrade available, and Richmond, Park Avenue and Sydney are full overlay shaker doors on the same box. On the frameless Classic box, Highland is a frameless shaker and Versailles is a frameless five-piece door with a 3/4 inch frame. CNC's White is one finish carried across all ten, so you can pick the frame and the box you want and keep the same white.

The short version: if you want the white to dominate and the frame to recede, go narrow, with Newport, Versailles or Quest Metro. The Build, Feature by Feature

The box and hardware follow the brand rather than the color, and each element does something you will notice in daily use.

• Fabuwood Allure, Quest and Value Premium: plywood box with a solid wood face frame, solid wood dovetail drawer boxes, and Blum soft-close hinges and full-extension runners. Fabuwood builds its painted shaker doors with HDF rails and stiles, which means the frame pieces around the center panel are engineered board rather than solid wood. That is a deliberate choice: engineered board moves far less as humidity changes, which helps keep the painted joints crisp for the life of the kitchen.
• Fabuwood Illume Tuscany: frameless box in 3/4 inch engineered furniture board with Blum MERIVOBOX metal drawer boxes. Fabuwood Ovela Tuscany: the same door on an all-plywood box with 5/8 inch solid wood dovetail drawers.
• Jarlin: 1/2 inch plywood box with a hardwood face frame, 5/8 inch solid wood dovetail drawers, and soft-close hinges and runners standard.
• Eurocraft: frameless 3/4 inch plywood box with a white melamine interior. Drawer boxes are full extension with soft-close, either double-wall metal or solid wood dovetail depending on the cabinet.
• KCD Brooklyn and Shaker (Premier Series): 1/2 inch seven-ply plywood box, full overlay doors with solid wood stiles and rails, and 5/8 inch solid wood dovetail drawers. KCD Essential (Builder Series): engineered wood sides with a plywood back, the same solid wood face frame and dovetail drawers, and partial overlay doors, which is what brings the price down.
• CNC Luxor, Concord and Classic: plywood boxes with soft-close hardware. Concord adds full 1/2 inch back panels, five-piece drawer fronts, full-extension undermount glides and finished interiors. Classic is the frameless CNC box.

Factory-applied finishes across every brand are sprayed and cured in a controlled environment rather than on site, which is what gives a painted door its smooth, hard surface.

Picking a Finish

Whites carry undertones that only reveal themselves next to another material, which is what makes them the hardest finish to judge from a screen. Here is how ours differ.

Cloud White is softer and warmer, with a faint cream undertone. It sits beautifully with warm floors, brass hardware and south-facing rooms where the light is already golden.

Frost is brighter and cooler, closer to a true white. It reads crisp against gray quartz, stainless appliances and black hardware, and it is the one to choose if you want the kitchen to feel sharp and contemporary.

Hallmark Frost gives you that same bright white in Fabuwood's most affordable line, which makes it a strong option for a rental, a budget-led project or a quick refresh. Blanco, on the Tuscany door, is the white for anyone who wants a frameless box.

Cream White from Jarlin is warmer again, with a buttery cast that suits traditional kitchens, wood floors and bronze hardware. Dove White from Jarlin sits between the two, a gentle neutral white and a reliable middle ground when a room has both warm and cool elements in it. Soda rounds out the Jarlin whites.

Stratus from Eurocraft, Bright White and Designer White from KCD, White from KCD Essential, and CNC's White are each stocked with a door sample. White is the finish where two samples side by side tell you more than any description can, so order the two you are torn between and look at them together in your own light.

Because white is offered across the full range, you can choose how much to spend without giving up the look. Within Fabuwood, Value Premium Hallmark Frost is the most affordable route, with Quest Discovery and Quest Metro close behind and the Allure collections as the premium tier. Within Allure, the Galaxy door is priced a step below Fusion and Nexus, so the same Cloud White costs less on Galaxy. Spread across a full kitchen, choosing Galaxy over a wider door in the same white can pay for the countertop upgrade.

Designing With This Collection

White is a background color, so the interest in a white shaker kitchen comes from what you put around it. Three moves do most of the work.

Give the countertop some movement. A stone with real veining reads far better against white shaker than a flat white quartz, because the doors are already providing quiet, regular geometry and the counter is where the eye wants variation.

Add a contrasting island. A wood-tone or navy island under a white perimeter is one of the most reliable layouts there is. The shaker profile stays consistent across both, so the room still reads as one kitchen.

Choose hardware with weight. Unlacquered brass, matte black and gunmetal all register against white, where a thin polished chrome pull tends to disappear into the door. On a wide Nexus frame there is room for a substantial pull; on a narrow frame such as Newport or Versailles, something slimmer keeps the proportions right.

If you are drawn to an all-white kitchen and want to keep the cabinets as the calm element, put the contrast in the backsplash instead. A handmade-look tile with irregular edges gives the room texture without adding another color.

Good to Know

• Soft-close doors and drawers are standard across every brand on this page. On Fabuwood, the Lazy Susan, Easy Reach and Wall Pie Cut cabinets are the exception and are supplied without the mechanism, which is helpful to know when planning that corner.
• Painted whites vary slightly between production runs, as any painted product does. Ordering everything for the kitchen in one go is the simplest way to keep a long run perfectly consistent.
• Hold your sample against the wall paint as well as the countertop. A warm white in a room with cool gray walls, or a cool white in a warm room, is the mismatch that shows up most often, and it is easy to avoid by checking both surfaces before you order.
• Lead times differ by brand. Fabuwood and Jarlin orders typically arrive within 2 to 4 weeks, and many arrive sooner. CNC Luxor ships in about 1 week and CNC Concord in about 2 to 3 weeks, confirmed per order.
• Each brand carries its own warranty. Fabuwood cabinets currently carry the Limited Lifetime Warranty, and Jarlin, KCD, Eurocraft and CNC are each covered by their own terms.

Every cabinet is priced individually, so you buy the exact sizes your layout needs and can watch the total build as you go.

• Choose your frame width first, then the white. Galaxy, Fusion, Nexus and the CNC and KCD doors change the room more than the shade does.
• Order at least two white samples. Two whites that look identical on a screen can clash badly when one is next to the other in your own light. Order a door sample and compare them side by side on your countertop and against your wall.
